Plastic Film Selections
- Acetate,
is recommended for printed applications that require superior clarity. Acetate film can easily be die cut, laminated, embossed, and it complements reversed screen printed applications.
- Abs is an easily machined, tough, low-cost rigid High Impact material
- Nomex,
Lightweight yet durable, Nomex has high dielectric and mechanical strength, flexibility, and resiliency so it's ideal for electrical insulation. It resists tears, abrasion, chemicals, heat, and flame. Max. Temp.: 428° F. Commonly used as filters and barriers in electronic equipment. Hi-Temp Insulating.
- PVC Clear,
the most widely used member of the vinyl family. Its major use is for corrosion-resistant applications. PVC can be cemented when bonding is required, although heat welding is a more acceptable process when bonding PVC.
- TPX,
Use this film in speaker cones, antennas, medical instrument covers, and ultrasonic imaging equipment for sound absorption and corrosion resistance. It is autoclavable due to its electrical insulation and low moisture absorption. FDA compliant.
